From 11 sources lying along the river Salso, there are 7 different springs each with unique characteristics and rich in mineral salts. There are waters containing:- sodium chloride; sodium-bromide-iodine; sulphur; sulphur with sodium; iron; magnesium; arsenic.

The Grand Hotel Terme Della Fratta opened its doors in May 2007, following a 5 year programme of expert work to restore such an important historical site of thermal well-being.

Framed by the rolling hills of the Romagna countryside, the hotel is situated in 13 hectares of splendid parkland where nature and history have met in harmony - generating a rich culture of hospitality known and appreciated throughout the world.
